He played classical piano at the age of 4 and drums in a post-hardcore band at 13. In 2009, after listening to an album by French duo Justice, he traded in his drums for a mixing console. Today, Zedd may be only 22, but his remixes of Lady Gaga, Fatboy Slim, Skrillex and the Black Eyed Peas have toured the globe.
House electro is the default setting for the German DJ/producer but he also goes for a mix of genres, like the explosive mix of progressive house and dubstep known as “Zedd Style”. Skrillex and progressive techno fans, what are you waiting for to put Zedd's hallucinating beats on your playlist?
