For about fifteen years now, this Vancouver supergroup has kept on making their addictive power-pop more relevant than ever by embracing new influences, such as German krautrock, on the all new Without Conditions. Over the years, the band, made up of A.C. Newman, Neko Case and Dan Bejar (Destroyer), has become a true reference for catchy hits with multi-coloured melodies, an abundance of choirs, and an infallible technique for creating hits as memorable as Letter from an Occupant, Ballad of a Comeback Kid and Mass Romantic.
