Lovers of explosive instrumental music will be thrilled with Lysistrata’s appearance at the Festival. The exuberant enthusiasm of this young French trio is expressed through post-rock sounds, noise and math-rock, taking the audience on a wild ride. The textures are diversified, sometimes soaring, sometimes cacophonous, but always interesting. Through their compositions, the musicians reveal their talent and show excellent mastery of their art. With two mini-albums to their credit since the band formed in 2013, we definitely haven’t heard the last of them.
