Discovered in 1996 when they were playing only at baptisms and weddings in Romania, Fanfare Ciocărlia was quick to take music lovers by storm worldwide due to the colossal talent of the eleven musicians who make up the band. Tubas, clarinets, trumpets, saxophones and drums engage in genuine sound acrobatics, while playing traditional gypsy songs and wild versions of contemporary hits. Frenzy and contagious good humour characterize the performances of this band, which leaves no one indifferent.
