Brad and Andrew Barr found more than an adopted home in Montréal. When they arrived in 2004, the brothers from Boston immediately felt the city’s bustling musical energy and it didn’t take them long to establish the foundations of The Barr Brothers. After a first folk album that propelled the group before 30,000 people at Festival de jazz de Montréal, the quartet played the indie card on their second album, Sleeping Operator, to the delight of critics. Fans keep on loving the Barr Brothers, as we could see at the full house last fall when they played for Nuits FEQ.
