Every year the FEQ features a significant number of relatively unknown talents from all over the world. Chester Watson, for example. Barely 18 years old, this prodigy from the Bandcamp / Soundcloud generation wins the hearts of his online community by posting experiments showcasing his particular vision of hip-hop. His influences? Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler, the Creator, DOOM, Mos Def… but Chester Watson imposes a style all his own and could well be making his mark on the genre in coming years.
