First he flirted with post-rock in Below the Sea, then electrified his rhythms under the name of Millimetrik for personal projects that cavorted with ambient, chill and hip-hop. In 2013, he shifted to stoner rock, playing drums on the excellent album Crâne by Les Indiens, before coming back a year later with the aerial and wonderful Lonely Lights. Over the years, Pascal Asselin / Millimetrik has become a master of all things rhythmic and we didn’t hesitate to entrust him with Le Cercle, a place the music maker from Quebec City knows very well.
