Robert DeLong mentions Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse and Boards of Canada as influences, and we couldn’t agree with him more. Originally a drummer for various indie rock bands, the Seattle musician gradually electronified his compositions to achieve a form of dancing indie-pop that can be enjoyed as much on the cerebral level as on the visceral level. His latest album, Just Movement , is an eloquent demonstration.
