In the late 70s, Blondie, led by the charismatic Debbie Harry, joined the disco/new wave movement without leaving their original punk attitude behind. The group soon became a true hit-making machine: “Heart of Glass”, “Rapture”, "Call Me”, “The Tide is High”, “One Way or Another”... They were so successful that, despite a break of 17 years during the 80s and 90s, to date Blondie has sold over 40 million albums!
