Monsieur Bossbottes (8 to 12 years old)

With its show for young audiences, the Bourask company takes you to a world inspired by the depths of mines. There we discover the “gumboot,” a percussive dance developed by miners in the course of their underground life, which is performed by tapping on their big black rubber boots. Bourask enriched this work by adding body percussion, slapstick (physical gags), the gromolo (a made-up language) and clowning. In 50 minutes of skits, children follow the adventures of four workers bustling and dancing to the rhythm of their tools. Their boss, Monsieur Bossbottes, is an incredible jerk, but he sometimes becomes a funny and awkward buddy.
